Hi,
As in the topic, I add a comment to an automation and the text "Automation for Jira" sticks to this comment every time. How to remove this?
Hi @Rafał Paluch - The rule "Actor" is set as Automation for Jira, thus every action is recorded as Automation for Jira, including the author of comments. If you want a different author, you'll need to change the actor.
Note - The actor should have sufficient rights to perform all the actions in the rule.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
This is because the Actor of your automation rule is Automation for Jira - so this is the 'user' attributed to any changes made by the rule.
A comment always needs an Author, so whoever is the Actor of the rule will be the Author of the comment. You can change the Actor of an automation rule in the Rule Details section.
Hope this helps!
