How do i create a linked issue in Jira Software from Jira Service Desk?

When i receive a bug from a customer into Jira Service Desk i would like to then manually create a linked issue in the appropriate Jira Software Project.

I can link a JSD issue to a Software project task successfully.

However, i do not seem to be able to select the Jira Software project when creating the linked issue.

Notes:

• JSD is on a separate server to Software
• Application links are in place

Make sure you have create issue permissions in the SW project.
