I'm a QA Manager and would like to filter by all the bugs reported by my team. Currently, I have hard coded the email ids using the reporter filter. Rather, I would be better off to create a project team and assign all my team members to that and use the project team filter. I'm sure there might be some question already, but I tried my best to dig thru previous questions, but couldn't find my scenario. Appreciate any help.
Or, if there is an alternate way, please suggest.
You could create a group and use the group name in your filters.
Great, is it again thru the admin personnel? I can log a ticket, but can you help me with how the group works? Does it take the user ids to be associated in groups?

Ah yes. Minor detail. Your friendly Jira admin will need to create and maintain the group for you. There is no way for non-admins to maintain it within Jira native functionality.
