How not to send notifications for sub-tasks?

Is it possible to not send notifications for sub-tasks and only send them for parent issues?

Hi @JConstantine , it is not possible to configure notifications by Issuetype unfortunately. There was a similar post recently and you might find a suggested work around useful - exclude-sub-task-creation-notification

I don't get it how to do this part:

Configure the post function "Update issue custom field" to update the field you created with the group containing all your users.
