How restrict a proforma form per issue type?

Shah Baloch

I have two issue types "Story" and "Task" for a project. I created two proforma forms for each issue type. In the "Recommended Form" I selected Story for story form and task for task form, however, I would like to put restrictions or hide the story form from Task and task form from the story. I don't want users can submit the Story form with Task issue type and Task form with Story issues.

Is there a way that users can only submit one form per issue? Or hide the form from other issue types or put conditions that the user shouldn't submit the second form?

If this post is in the wrong section please move it to the right section.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Shah Baloch

You can also check out Business Process Manager for Jira Cloud (app developed by my team). Using it you can create process templates with a set of forms, checklists, and /or instructions. The form assigns only to concrete users and only in one issue.

I hope, it will help

Hi @Shah Baloch

We have the same issue with proforma and the way we partially fixed it was by setting the recommended form for each issue type so that it displays first.

Restricting the form per issue type would be a nice feature to have.

Cheers
