I have a recently created field that I initially fought with to remove the "none" option from. I finally was able to get the option removed by making it a required answer and defaulting the value to one of the other options.
Today when I had a meeting to go over the new form I created, the "none" was back. I double checked the settings and nothing changed.
What did I miss?
Edited to add - Currently using Jira Cloud and I looked for the HTML settings enabled/disabled in the General configuration and couldn't find it.

I have found this solution, it may help:
First one shows options in the request form on the customer facing side.
I went through all of the steps last week when I created the field and request. It worked initially but when I looked again today, it reverted back to having the "none" option. I'm not sure what I missed or why it changed back.
Second one shows default value is selected
Third one is showing it's a required field.

Hi Allison,
Can you share a screenshot? And you are sure the field is required and there is a default value for it?
