I created few custom in my personal Jira Cloud instance from Settings ->Issues->Custom Fields-> Create Custom Field.
After that I created a project(Next Gen) and created an Issue. After issue creation I opened it and clicked on Configure button. To my surprise I cannot see the fields I created in the above step.
Also, I cannot access or see any other fields which were present in the first screenshot.
Hi @Ronnie Mishra , welcome to the community!
Team Managed Projects do not leverage shared Custom fields. All custom fields for TMP are within the project itself under the specific Issuetype. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks @Jack Brickey

Hi Jack Brickey
I am facing a similar issue. I tried t create a custom field for adding multiple users. Then I found that it wasn't showing up custom field section of issue types because my project is new gen.
I know that there is a custom field called "People" for adding users.
My goal is to have multiple users in the same issue and notify them of the same.
Is there a way around this without creating a classic project?
