How to set user account expiration date?

Hi All,

We want to set expiration dates for our user accounts in JIRA Service Desk. Is anyone doing this through add-ins? I did check with JIRA tech support and they currently do not have such a feature.

Howdy,

The easiest way I have found to do this is by using a third party LDAP such as Active Directory, OpenLDAP, etc. The password rules, etc. will be adhered to and you can set the expiry on the LDAP side. If you are on JIRA 7.2+ you may also want to check out the Enterprise Password Policy for JIRA add-on.
