Hi,
(using JIRA 4.4.3)
I'm using JIRA as a database of issues, with me as the only user. Now I think I've managed to sc*** the permission set for the admin-group. When ever I try to access te administration section I get the password prompt as usual, but the next screen turns out blank.
I've reinstalled JIRA with the same result (I've imported a backup) and of course tried different browsers.
Thanks both of you for your effort!
I ended up doing a complete reinstall of the database.
When trying to add a new issue I got a "System error" with the following cause: "com.atlassian.util.concurrent.LazyReference$InitializationException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: entityNameToMatch argument cannot be null"
Could this be related or is it a completly different problem?

Maybe there is something wrong with your compiled JSP pages.
Shutdown JIRA, remove the work directory and restart it

if you type GG on the admin screen, then then Permissions, can you then click on the global permission link and reset it, making sure that the jira-administrators group has the proper permission?

No, I'm afraid not.. I get the password promt and the same blank screen.
It seems like all the short-cuts in the menubar is functioning because I get a blank screen with different adress in the adress bar.
