Hi @Akshay Kale - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Have you verified that those fields are in the context for the COB project and/or the issue type? You can verify by
1. Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields
2. Search for your custom field, then click on the 3 dots on the right
3. Choose Contexts and default value option
4. Click Edit Configuration
5. Verify what projects and issue types are available for that field.

Looks like you are arriving there through your project settings and not the Issues.
Go to this URL, except replace the yourcompany part with your actually instance:

I have the same problem. I want to enter a checklist to a subtask and get this error. In the custom field configurator it says Checklist Text is available for Global and all isssue types, but still the automation gives the error mentioned above.

@Olof Nysten, to get rid of the error, you need to add the field to a screen.
I guess it fails when you create the subtasks so you need to add Checklist Text to the Create Issue screen: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/822837261/Add+custom+field+to+a+screen
Cheers,
