I would like to use JIRA Automation to create sub-tasks and assign this new sub-task, please assist.

I created a rule that is currently working, however, I would like to have this newly created subtask assigned to a specific person upon creation. how can I achieve this?

In this case in the section "Then: create 1 sub-task" you must most probably just search for assignee field then assign it to desired user
