We use different tools in our organization and need to be able to connect JIRA issues to other tools (listed above) to tie different tasks and projects together.

What do you mean TMS? Can you clarify that acronym? (Translation memory system ?)

For JIRA (server) and Jive 7+ (cloud, on-premise, hosted), yes. AppFusions' Immersive for Atlassian JIRA, in Jive is a packaged integration that is well supported and deployed.

The short answer is "Yes"

The long answer is that you have a lot to look at - Application links, Jira's REST interface, and addons are the three main things you'll want to start with.

But the frst step will generally be to work out what you want to do in each of your systems and what they are going to do to Jira and/or what things in Jira is going to read/write those systems.
