In the past, the establishment of a federation made it possible to bring together small servers in a single administration and offered the possibility of creating links. But, now that there are no more affordable server licenses, we will not create small instances. Shouldn't Atlassian also offer to federate the license? Otherwise the feature will be useless for new instances, except to federate several big instances.
Hi @gilles kekenbosch If you other instances are not production sites, you can use the developer licenses which comes with the commercial one.
Hello @Sagar, thanks for answering. We have a lot of Jira instances in different business units. One reason to move to a federation is to provide for data and administration segregation.
