This is happening on using filter - "Open Requests" and still the requests are being displayed, Please suggest on this.

Your issue resolution is set to the unresolved right? That is what's causing this issue.
You need to edit your workflow transition:
Edit all the transitions leading to status Done & Resolved, add a post function on the transition(line leading to status),
press on that line -> post functions -> Add a post function -> Update issue field -> Choose resolution -> Done or Resolved
Move this post function to last place before "generic event that can be processed by listeners"

For a issue to be marked as "Closed or Done" it has to have a resolution.
