Internal directory user deactivation, problem with project lead and component leaders

Hi community,

I have migrated my user accounts to an active directory but now I have my duplicate accounts in the user picker because they have not been deleted from the internal Jira directory.

I want to clean up my internal directory but when I deactivate an account, I get an error when the user is in a project lead or component leader role and I would like to be able to identify this before doing the operation

So, i would like to be able to identify all users who are in project lead or component leader roles and the associated projects.

Do you have any ideas? Suggestions?

An answer on this post talks about how to get the information from the REST API.

This post has answers that talk about getting a list of projects with the Project Lead using a database query.
