Is a dynamic title for custom charts possible?

Is it possible to create a title for a chart that changes with the filter?

For example, if I filter my chart to "Data Group" could the title on the chart also say "Data Group" but when I filter to "Finance Group" could the title say "Finance Group"?

Or is there a different gadget available that has this functionality?

Hi Kathryn:

It is my understanding that out of the box - via the Reports UI, it is not possible.  However, if you are referring to the gadget adds to your dashboard, then once you select the filter, then the gadget (i.e. Pie Chart) will display the filter name.

If you want additional functionality for reporting (especially custom chart title changes dynamically), you may need to search for possible third party add-on via Atlassian Marketplace.
