Is there a way to change the id of a custom field?

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is any way to change the id of a custom field. When I query an issue over the REST api, the custom fields are in the format "customfield_11316". Is there a way to change that?

The customfield_xxxxx format is hardcoded as a standard throughout Jira and its add-ons and applications. Unless you fancy rewriting the entire thing, Krisz is spot on.
