We are creating a service desk project for our IT department, and HR sends them requests. But we don't want anyone but members of the "HR" grouping/organization to be able see submit them. Ideally we don't want them to be able to see these request types. But it looks like that's not possible. So I'm looking to see if there's a way to restrict the ability to create these ticket types.
Any workarounds for this would be welcome, since I've spent weeks researching and haven't found much that's been helpful for me.
Hey @Brianna Barnes is your HR team a part of the Jira system as regular users?
If so they can create the Jsd tickets from internal rather than using the portal.
I believe the best way would be to...
This should prevent anyone from creating the ticket, it will still be seen but no one should be able to create.
Test that out and let me know what you think.
its not possible as there is no conditions available on the create transition, also this will be applied to all request types related to this workflow.
Best Regards,
Medhat
