Issue Assigned Notification is not sent when assignee is changed during transition

Hi All,

In our workflow transitions, on each step/transition screen, we have assignee field and they are changed to different team member on each Status. On Changing Assignee during transition, Issue Assigned Notification is not triggered. 

We have setup Generic Event for these mid status transition. I tried to add "Fire an Event based on Condition" using Scriptrunner to trigger Issue Assigned Notification, but it is not triggering any notification. Only Jira Event "Generic Event" is triggered.

I also tried to add Scriptrunner Listener but it dint worked. If there is a way to add Script runner listener, could you provide way/code to implement it

Could you please help to solve this issue.

Hi @Tamil 

If you are a Jira admin, you can go to a specific issue and use the Notification helper from the Admin drop down. This should help you diagnose the issue.
