Issue Collector - unable to set epic link

We have created 2 issue collectors: 

One which creates bugs and another which creates change requests

They work like a charm: users can e.g. select the priority or the component of the new issue. 

However, additionally they should be able to set the epic link for the new issue.

How would I add the epic link as custom field to the issue collector?

Hi Sven,

Currently, adding certain system fields like epic links is currently not possible in the issue collector. There is an existing Suggestion open for this that you can find at JRASERVER-41134 and JRACLOUD-41134.  Please vote on both of these and add your use case to the comments to add impact. 

I have not tested this but I did find a Community post where a user states they manually set it through the javascript with an example.  You can find that post at Add Epic Name to Issue Collector.
