Issue Collectors - Trying to preset a label in Issue Collector

Hi,

Is there a way of adding a preset field or label to every issue created via Issue Collector in JIRA? This would need to be something that is added automatically to every issue and pre-populated/unable to be changed by a user completing the form/template.

Hi Giovanna,

You could use a post function in the "on issue created" transition to insert a value to a field or label. This would add the value to certain fields whenever an issue that uses the workflow is created.

On a sidenote, you need to use post functions that are available from plugins as the native JIRA does not have the post function required.

One plugin that I could think of is JIRA Workflow Toolbox.
