Hey community! I'm doing some research for a cloud migration and wanted to see if anyone knows the answer to this:
In this link it says JCMA migrates proforma app data:
In this link below it says that we can migrate proforma in jcma for JSM
And in this link - it tells us proforma is for both Jira software and JSM
https://confluence.atlassian.com/proforma/proforma-data-center-documentation-1087521714.html
I'm wondering if JCMA is just for for JSM? Am I reading this too literally or maybe I missed something? Any information helps!
Thanks in advance for taking the time to help me look at this.

Hi Steve.
JCMA can be used to migrate Business, Software and Service Management projects from Jira Server/Data Center to Cloud. It's not restricted to just JSM projects. There are some limitation of what can and cannot be migrated and you already found that information in https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/what-gets-migrated-with-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant/. If you have concern about of what get migrated, I would recommend setting up a test instance with sample projects and perform a test migration to see what get migrated.
