JIRA Cloud - Notifications for field change

Hey! I'm using JIRA Cloud and was looking for a way to clean up the notifications.

Currently, notifications for Issue Updated are sent for any sort of field change and this spams the watchers. What's the best way to filter these notifications?

For example, we want to fire notifications to watchers only when Fix Version is changed or some specific custom field is modified.

Jira out-of-the-box have a default-spammer-notification-configuration. Some of my customers complain this fact. 

For specific notification you must spent a lot of time in configuration but some actions are not possible with the standard.

Try some addon, which add specific funcionalities, like this addon for cloud.

JIRA doesn't allow field level control. I've found most people don't want notifications upon edits, even most watchers. I think cloud allows some scripting. There may be a way to trigger on fix versions and turn off edit notifications.
