JIRA Public Sign Up Licensing

Hello, everyone.

I need to know if there is a plugin that prevents the following case:

By registering with JIRA, a user is automatically granted a license to JIRA Software.

I do not want this user to receive a license automatically.

Can you help me out?

I don't think you need a plugin to to achieve this.  However when users are created in Jira, in order to grant them access to the application you have to put these users into a group.  This is explained in Manage group access to applications.

If you have public signup enable in Jira Service desk, you need to make sure that new users are not being added to the specific group that grants application access.   Service Desk customers do not need to be in any groups in order to be able to access the Service Desk customer portal.   Customers for Service Desk are unlicensed users as explained in Setting up service desk users.
