Hi !
We are using JIRA service DESK and I would like to add participants in the request participant fileld via a JIRA automated rule.
The option set values, does'nt keep the participant already identified on the request participant field.
I have tried the same automation on labels field with success with the option add/remove values available for the field.
Anyone can help me to find a way doing this operation ?
Thank in advance.
BenGreg
Hi @BenGreg
When you want to add values with automation to a user list field like Request Participants, you will need to use the advanced edit features. Please take a look a this post for an example:

Hello @BenGreg
This is possible using automation.
Please refer to the below screenshot for setting up the automation. I have set it up simply as to whenever any issue is created the 'Request Participants' would be updated to the defined user.
This can be customized as per your use case.
Please accept the answer if this helps solve your query else respond and allow others to share input.

Hey BenGreg
First of all, are you sure your "request participants" users exist?
in the directory?
And are you sure that they are in the role "service desk customers" in your project?
