Our JIRA Service Desk IT project is linked with our knowledgeable Confluence space. Space permissions are set to "allow any active user" to view this space. When attempting to associate a knowledgeable article to the JIRA ticket by clicking on "Share as Comment", nothing happens. The link is not added as a comment. Confirming that I have logged into Confluence too, I cannot share as comment within the Confluence window. I have disconnected the knowledgeable link to Confluence and reconnected to the Confluence space with no change. Can someone assist with a solution?

As per the details, everything seems correct for the "Share as comment" to work.
Can you please open the developer tools on your browser and then click on the button "Share as comment" to check if it will show any error?
What browser are you using? Have you tried using another one or incognito mode?
Also, to make sure we are testing the same environment, are you using Jira Cloud or Server?
