I must me missing something.

In JSD Server we want to create a Jira issue where customer is the assignee. i.e. we need the customer to take action.

So the end result will be:

  • Jira issue is created
  • Reporter is a JSD agent
  • Assignee is a customer

Hi Michael,

Typically customers understand they need to take action when the status is "Waiting for Customer", or the like.

The reporter should actually be the customer, then they'll get the appropriate notifications.

In terms of assigning the issue, unless the customer is a Jira Service Desk agent, this can't be done. The customer also typically never sees the assignee of the issue in most JSD instances (they want their ticket worked on; generally they don't care who by).

Cheers
