Hey,
maybe you have an idea how to handle this. I have a user in JIRA that basically is representing a build server. Whenever a new build is finished this user adds the fix version to a JIRA issue. Hence, he edits the issue and a notification event is fired.
Now.. I really don't want to receive an e-mail for this. Is there any way to exclude this user from firing notification events? I want to see the information when I open the issue, but an e-mail will be filtered and sent to the trash immediately.
Thank you!
Hi Andrea,
As it turns out, there's no way to limit the notifications based on the user interacting with JIRA. The best alternative would be to filter the notification based on some pattern that can be picked up by your mail client.
