Jira Service Management project integration with jira software project

We are new to jira service management and trying to understand the extent of this tool. We are trying to integrate jira service management project cloud to cloud jira software project. But the only option we see is to integrate the entire instance.

Is there a way we can link 1 service management project to a single jira software project. What we are trying to achieve is when linking a request type to issue type to see only specific issue ids belonging to one particular project.

If the projects are in the same instance and you have Project Admin rights:  On the right side there is a Project Links option. Go to that and link it to your project.
