How to increase the width of the Jira Forms? Or make it reflow according the the width of the browser window?
Hi Allen, welcome to the Atlassian community!
Unfortunately you can't change the forms defaul behavior. You would have to use a plugin for that.
Hi @Allen Han
Jira’s native forms in Software projects currently have a fixed-width layout and don’t dynamically resize based on the browser window. The layout is optimized for consistency inside the issue view rather than full responsive behavior, so unfortunately there’s no setting or CSS customization available to adjust the width or make it reflow.
If responsive layout is important for your use case (for example, forms shared with users on different devices or embedded on external pages), another option you might explore is Smart Jira Forms— developed by our team.
Smart Forms are fully responsive:
They automatically adapt to browser size and mobile screens.
You can share them externally or embed them on a Confluence page or website.
The same form will look clean and centered on any screen width.
So if your team needs forms that adjust seamlessly across devices, that would be a solid fit.
