Jira how to make field required for ONLY the issue created by issue collector

Hi, I am wondering how to make field required for only the fields in the Jira issue collector.

I know that there is workaround article in the sense that I can go to field configurations and configure some custom fields and set it to required and apply it to the particular issue type(story).

but this is not what I wanted. That work around will force all story that are created to have that field mandated. I don’t want that, I only want stories created using the issue collector to have those required field. 

can it be done? Is there any work around? Or can I set the field required using JavaScript in the front?
