Limit User Synchronization from Jira to Confluence

Deleted user January 22, 2019

Hi,

we use Jira and its Internal Directory to manage users. We successfully connected Confluence to Jira for User Management. As a result, ALL Jira users and groups are also visible in the Confluence users /groups list.

Is there a way to limit the synchronization to specific groups? The goal is to define a group in Jira and only synchronize the users in this group with Confluence. That way, all other users and groups would not be visible in Confluence.

In case this is not possible with Jira and Confluence alone, is there a way to realize it with Atlassian Crowd?

That's a good one. Had the same situation myself.

Btw. there's a way to do so with LDAP:

Reducing the number of users synchronized from LDAP to Jira applications
