I am trying to set up an automation rule for the following:
If a ticket moves into a certain status on Jira Software, update all linked tickets on Jira Service Desk and move them to 'Closed' status for example.
To do this I need to search across instances, and have the automation hang off the JQL.
Looking for an answer on this being possible, and what plug ins might make this happen.
Can you explain what you mean by instances. Do you have multiple Jira Service Desk installations on different servers? or do you just have multiple service desks on the same server?
