Message field( for edit) no longer available

Hi, 

I recently upgraded to jira 8.13.2 and now the ability to create a custom field of type (Message field(for edit) has disappeared along with all of my exisiting fields. Is there anyway I can get this back? or is there another field which should be used now instead?

Check the list of installed/active apps in your upgraded system, I syspect you'll find the Jira Toolkit is disabled, as the version you have may be incompatible with your Jira.  You should be able to click "upgrade" to get the latest compatible version, which should then re-enable your fields.
