Modify Epic Link but can not be empty

Hello Community ! 

I have a question regarding the "Epic Link" custom field. 

We now have a restriction that a US can not be created without an Epic Link. But it is possible to remove the Epic after the creation. 

Is there any Automation or JMWE function that, for example do one of this thing : 

- If I modify Epic link it can not be empty 

- If I remove the Epic Link, it automatically resets to old field if the field is left empty
