Hello,
My site is https://interextech.atlassian.net/ hosted on a free JIRA cloud.
I have custom workflows and custom fields, a few of which are number value fields.
I was creating Dashboard for one of my projects (a company managed project) which has a few custom fields configured in it. But in any statistic gadgets that I try, I simply don't see the string, numeric or date value custom fields. Only custom fields that of dropdown types appear fine for statistical charting.
I searched and found that in the community people suggest to enable field indexing or set the search template against custom fields. M<y search template is correctly set as Number Searcher but Indexing related options don't appear anywhere.
Pls suggest.

What gadgets are you trying to use in your dashboard, more exactly?
You could try the gadgets of our Great Gadgets app. For example, the Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget let's you create multi-dimensional tables and charts based on custom fields of various types.
Also, Issue Filter Formula gadget and the Advanced Issue Filter Formula gadget offered by the same app lets you apply from simple (SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE etc) to complex math formulas based on the numerical custom fields from multiple Jira filters.
This app is free with the Jira free plan (up-to 10 users). If you need help, please feel free to contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Danut Manda

Indexing is done automatically on Cloud, this is way there is no manual option like on server or DC
