Our JIRA server need more 8 users license now, how to proceed.

Hi Team,

Ours is on-prem JIRA software server instace of 10 users list, but from February we need to add more 8 users. But our JIRA not allowing to create new JIRA access as exceeded max limit(10 users pack). 

Please team, provide us more details how to proceed for ne 8 users lincense purchase?

As of February 15, 2022 PT, you will no longer be able to upgrade or downgrade tiers for your Server products or apps. Changing tiers will only be available by moving to either Cloud or Data Center.

Thank you for the fast reply. We are interested to move to "Data center", in such case is there any cost involved?

As we are already using a licensed JIRA server, so if we want to migrate to "Data center", what would be the cost? also could you please provide more details on this?

Honestly, with such a small user tier, migration to Cloud is a must, migration to Data Center is not even possible.

Our client suggested to migrating to Data center only and in future they may require of 20-25 users only( currently we have 10 users). 

May I know more details please why we cannot migrate to "server to Data center"?

Ours JIRA and Bamoo are server type and we have integrated same JIRA and Bamboo of our client instances of type "Data center". 

If our JIRA and Bamboo migrate to "Cloud" as you have suggested, would they fit for  our client's " Data center" instances?

which means integration between "cloud" type and "Data center" type is compatible?

could you please help us in deciding the instance type as we need to extend our " number of Users list" tier.

Data Center has a user tier of minimum 500 users, you cannot have DC for a 25 user tier. So the only option is Cloud.

What do you mean by "our client's Data Center instances"?

What do you mean by "our client's Data Center instances"? : Means thier JIRA and BAMBOO tools are "Data center' instances. If our tools move to "Cloud", would they compatible with "Data center" instances. 

Query is : Aplication links ( reciprocal links) between "Data center" atlassian tools and " Cloud" instace tools is compatible ? will they work properly?
