We have a bug tracking software project where access cannot be set to ‘private’ in the usual sense.
We tried to use permissions (changing the default permission scheme) to ensure that only users in the relevant project could see the project content, but this did not work.
Where can I find instructions on how to set up guest users (external, from another domain) so that they can only see a single assigned project and not the above-mentioned project?
Thank you!

When you changed the permission scheme for the single project, did you also change the permission scheme for all your other projects? If not that would be the first thing you should look at. In order to allow external users to access a single project you have to make sure that the permission schemes used by your other projects is configured correctly. Have a look at this KB for more information about permissions in Jira.
..Thank you for your help, we adapted the permission schemes!
