I'm new to the JIRA system. I've been set with Admin privileges and have access to all areas. I am receiving an email/notification for every action carried out on each JIRA.
For example, it's creation. It's change in status. Who it is assigned to after the creation. If an attachment is added. Summary changes. It's status change etc. I can have 4 or 5 emails for one action carried out on a JIRA.
I've searched through my personal configuration settings and also searched global email notification settings. I can't seem to locate how to minimise it. I've tried creating filters with my mail based on what's in the notification body. However my filters don't seem to pick this up. For example, if I want to mark notifications, where an assignee was changed, to read. It is not picked up.
I've searched the forum and I imagine this has been covered. I've just not been able to locate it yet.
Per each project you can assign a specific notification scheme, which can be customized to meet to your requirements.

Hello @Kevin O_Connor
Can you check the notification scheme of the concerned project and see if the jira-administrators groups is set anywhere.
Regards
