Hello,
Our team has encountered an issue where one of my colleagues' accounts got deactivated today. We are using the Jira Software (Jira Service Management as well) free plan.
The account is associated with an email address on gmail.com.
We have an other projects where this account is also present, and today that the account is deactivated.
I have org admin rights in the organization, but I can't find a "Reactivate" button anywhere.
Could you please advise where to look and what to check?
Thank you!
Welcome to the community @Parixit Ingle !
First refer to this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/enabling-a-deactivated-account-to-provide-site-access-1005792657.html - this is for the managed accounts
For the unmanaged accounts, check the "User management" -> Show details -> three dots.
Also, if the account got disabled all of the sudden (since you cannot check this in audit log because you have the free plan), you would need to raise a support ticket to Atlassian.
Hello,
The Team member got the mail as following:
"U.S. law prohibits Atlassian, an Australian corporation with offices in the United States, from providing you with access to our products and services. After analyzing the applicable lists of restricted parties maintained by the U.S. Government, we were unable to confirm that your name was not affiliated with a restricted party. If this is a case of misidentification, please reply with two different copies of official documentation to verify your identity."
We are a small startup company in India, how should we proceed with this request?
What should be done?
Thanks

That error message suggests that you are not trying to get into an Atlassian-based system.
You will need to talk to the administrators of the system you are trying to log into.
