Hi there,
Sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find it, if it has, close and link is fine.
I am trying to setup a condition to check what is commented. For example, on our automation for reopening jobs with a public comment, I want to add a condition that if it has "thanks" as the comment, then it will not continue the automation. Is there anyway to check what the contents of the comment is?
We are on Jira Service Desk Cloud
EDIT: Just realised this in Jira section, not Jira Service Desk
Thanks,
Patrick Tripodi
Hi Patrick,
You should be able to achieve this with our issue fields condition:
https://docs.automationforjira.com/reference/conditions.html#issue-fields-condition
Here's an example of how you can check if the latest comment contains a particular word:
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
Thanks for that, I thought it was something simple. However, I am not sure if this is available in the cloud version? I tried with Issue Transitioned and it didn't appear eitherThanks,
Patrick
