Add new employee to Asset from answer to specific questions in Request

If an end-user wants us to create a new user for our software, is it possible for Jira to create an Employee asset automatically based on their answers in the request?

Or is this something that we have to add manually?

I just don't know if this is possible with Jira Service Management their automations?

 

Second question: I saw in one of the demos that the end-user that creates a ticket is also linked in Jira Assets. How do I do link this?

Third question: Can Jira help setting up an environment?

First question - you can create an object in assets, using smartvalues from the answers in your request/workflow using Automation

 

Second question> The linked in Jira Assets is basead when you create a issue with the object relates to issue, something like using a custom field

 

Third questions> can you describe more this question ?

What kind of environment do you want ? The most common is using web request

2. I didn't understand your explanation.

3. We would like to start with Jira Service Management and in another ticket someone said that Jira can help us set-up the environment, like creating automations, best practices etc.

1. This link maybe help you, bellow it's an example of create object in assets with customfields, some fields (with red tag) are assets fields :)

2. You can access the object and see all the issues relates to this specific object (in the orange mark (sorry about red bands, its confidencial information (i dont have a premium instance for me :X))

3. Would it be as if someone opened a request asking to create a VM on AWS?
If this is the case, the "Action" within the automation called "Send webrequest" could execute this, you just need to validate, for example, whether it is possible to create a VM on AWS via API, as the standards there would be to handle the payload to receive and execute and later obtain the machine information and load the information back to the assets, for example
