Hello

How would I add approved vacation/holidays to members on Tempo planner so I can have a clear view of resource and capacity?

Many thanks

Gayle

Gayle,

This should help.

You would need to add a holiday scheme in Tempo.

Once you have created the new Holiday scheme, you can move users into it on the Holiday Schemes page (YOURINSTANCE/secure/TempoHolidayScheme!default.jspa) or in the Team that the User is a member of.

To move the User in the Holiday scheme page:
Find the current Holiday scheme of the User (if they have never been moved, they are in the Default Holiday Scheme) and click Members. Find the User in the list and use the "Move" link to move him to the correct Holiday Scheme.

Also see Switching sets of public holidays for more information.

To move the User in the Team Configuration:
As a JIRA or Tempo Administrator, go to the Team Overview of a Team that the User is a member of. Go to Configuration, Working Days. Here you can change both the Workload Scheme and the Holiday Scheme for each Team member.

Also, Tempo is very active and responsive from their support channel.  For reference if need be in the future: Tempo Support.

Hi Josh

Thanks for replying.

If I were to create a new holiday scheme for a colleagues 2 week vacation, I would have to repeat it 10 times to cover the 2 working weeks as the holiday scheme page only allows you to entre one day at a time.

Surely their must be an more efficient way of adding my teams holidays to the planner for capacity?

Many thanks

Gayle
