Allow everyone to create mail requests

How can i allow anyone that sends a email to support@mysite.com to create a ticket in jira or jira service desk? 

I have jira cloud with a 3 agent licence, and jira servide desk with a 10 agents licence.

I want to allow anyone to submit support requrests , is that possible?

 

Customer Permissions

Can customers create their own accounts?

Yes, by signing up or sending a requestNo, only my team can create accounts

Can customers access and send requests from the help center without logging in?

Yes

 

These options are enabled in jira servide desk configuration, but i get FAILURE Signup is not currently available when someone mails in.

Hi Ioan,

Creating Issues in Jira Core from external email is not recommended, as the creator will then not be able to follow up on the created issue, as they most likely will not have the permission to view it.

Tickets on the other hand, in Jira Service Desk can be created from email. Please see below a documentation article on how to enable just that:
