Atlassian JIRA: Can I search for Confluence bugs reported for a specific version?

Hi,

We're preparing to upgrade to Confluence 6.7.0. But, before we commit, I'd like to search Atlassian's JIRA (bug repository) to see if any significant bugs have been reported in this version.

To clarify, I'm talking about the JIRA that contains bug reports like this one:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-52060

I'd imagine I'd need to filter on the AFFECTS VERSIONS/S field, and whatever field designates the product name ("Confluence").

Any tips on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Absolutely, the search is one of the powers of JIRA. :-) You can read all about it in my blogpost series on this Community.

Specifically to your question, you can open the following link and use the basic search functionality to change the affected version: Link to search results.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Maarten

Yes it does. I used the link to your already-created search. No time now to read over your article, but I'll try to look when I get a chance.

Thank you.
