Hello all,
I have received the following request from a customer.

"If only DCPA/SONS tickets are linked to an ITS issue with security level PO, the ITS ticket should be closed when the last DCPA/SONS ticket linked to it is closed.

As far as technically feasible, the final comment transmitted when the DCPA/SONS ticket is closed should also be transferred to the linked ITS ticket (but only this comment and not all comments from the sub-tickets in general)".

Unfortunately I'm totally stuck on how to do the trigger, the check for the last closed ticket and the comment. Can anyone give me a hint here.

Thanks a lot already, greetings,

Max

Hi Max,

Here's an idea. To make it simple, you can try to create three different rules:

  • Two rules to copy the last comments of issues in the projects DCPA and SONS to the issue in the project ITS (one for each project). That's an example for the project DCPA:
Copy the last comment - Example rule.png
  • One rule to close the issue in the project ITS when the linked ones are closed:
Close the issue - Example rule.png

That's the first idea that came to my mind. I hope it will give you some new ideas.
