I am trying to track meetings in Jira and would like to store meeting minutes in confluence. In order to simplify this I would like to make a jira automation rule that when a jira issue with the tag of "meetings" is created that it will create a page in confluence for those meeting notes. Is there anyway to do this.
Hi Justin,
At this point in time, Automation for Jira does not support interaction with confluence, so you cannot achieve this using Automation for Jira alone. Perhaps you could direct this question to other community spaces, such as Script Runner for Confluence, and see if others have achieved what you are wanting to do.
To better support this use case, we've recently introduced a new "Create Confluence page" action to Automation - you can read more about this here: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/use-jira-automation-with-confluence/
