Hello,
up untill a few weeks ago I was alone in mantaining our instance. Now that a new colleague has arrived, we noticed that the automation rules can send a message only to one user in case of failure (the owner). I was wondering if there is a way to keep all the team informed in case of a rule failure, or better yet if a rule error in automation can be a trigger to create an issue. I don't think it's possibile right now, but I wonder if the community has some tips on this problem.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for your feedback!
I’ve linked your suggestion to a related feature request, which counts as an upvote for this ticket:

Thanks for letting us know. For more ideas on how to use Automation, feel free to check out our template library here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library

Hi @Gerardo Dalena,
Yes. When an automation rule fails, a notification is sent to the rule owner. That said, you could consider taking the problem from Jira into your mail client and set up a forwarding rule there, that forwards the notification to a distribution list / mail alias representing your team.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
thanks to both of you. I'll use @Walter Buggenhout workaround for the time being.
Best regards,
Gerardo D.
