Automation rules to create a confluence document when a story is created

Hi 

We are looking at automating some workflow for one of our projects internally. Here is our requirements.

We use only a couple of issue types in our project: Story and Sub-Task

Stories are like features for us and Subtasks are steps to do that.

So we want to create one Confluence document per Story.

Is there any way to automate this?

As in, when we create an issue of type story, by default, a confluence document should be created under the linked Confluence Space, with the same name as the story name.

Hi, there is an app that does exactly what you need and more. You can automatically publish Confluence page based on Jira issues, you may fill pages with the data from issues, choose the space and parent page where the page will be created. Additionally, you can display a page directly in Jira issues (in the additional section).
