Can I log time when I have View/browe permission only?

I have view only permission and Work on Issue permission.  Will I be able to log time without edit permission on Issues?

Welcome to the Community! Great question, you can indeed log your time without editing the issue permissions. Time tracking does have to be active for you to be able to log time but can be found in settings - issues - issue features - and then time tracking.

Yes, without edit permission you can log work on a jira issue.

Time tracking must be active --> Settings --> issues --> Issue features -> Time Tracking
